AYSO of Hyde Park - Region 751 attracts international soccer stars.
Among those who have recently come to visit and play with AYSO751 is international soccer star Patrick Nyarko, who is pictured above. Patrick Nyarko of the MLS Chicago Fire, seen here signing autographs during AYSO751's 2012 Season Opening Day festivities on the Midway Plaissance, was a three-time All-ACC player for Virginia Tech, a Herman Trophy nominee, a top MLS Draft pick and is a member of Ghana's national team. We thank Patrick Nyarko for his recent visit along with all of the elites of the soccer world who have visited with AYSO751 in the past.

Every week, hundreds of girls and boys descend upon Jackson Park to have fun learning to love the game of soccer. They learn it with their friends and their families. We guide youth in developing sound soccer skills, at the right pace. They'll just think they are having a great time-- and they'll be right.
Teams are open to boys and girls ages 4-14 years. We practice on the Midway Plaissance, surrounded by the University of Chicago Campus, after school and play games Saturday mornings at the soccer complex on the lakefront at Lake Shore Drive and 63rd (Hayes Drive) Street.. Fees cover: games /practices, uniforms,insurance, pictures, equipment, and trophies.
Our league exists because everyone volunteers. You could be "Coach Mom" or "Coach Dad", coordinate team snacks, referee a match, paint lines on the field, or contribute in any number of ways to this thriving community program. Have fun with your kids and with AYSO!

Special Thanks to the Midway Plaissance and Eugene Brown for volunteering his time and the Ice Rink Field House to AYSO for Opening Night. Thank you Don and Peg Swanton,Michelle Naverette and her family, Robert McCurry, Vanessa and Maya James, and Michael Nelson for setting up and taking down equipment for the event.
